    The KSU Foundation is hiring a Training and Development Manager. The manager will lead our learning culture through:

    Training program design and creation: 

    Using a needs assessment, develop, design, and customize training and development programs that are targeted to the specific needs and goals of the organization, as well as the growth of individual team members. Create and curate training materials, resources, and content to support training and development programs. 

    Delivery and facilitation: 

    Create and/or lead training sessions, workshops and seminars using a variety of training methods with both in-person and virtual options for all areas of training, career growth and professional development. 

    Resource management

    Administer and maintain the training and development platforms, including the learning management system for online training modules and employee training records. Monitor usage of budget dollars for the training and development programs, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

    Performance Management:

    Manage, train, and coach all employees on the performance management philosophies and processes for the organization using the designated performance management tools. Partner with leaders and team members to ensure individual and team performance goals are aligned with the organization's objectives.

    Success in this role looks like:

    • Using training and development as a catalyst for overall professional growth in the organization. 
    • Coaching managers and team members on the organization's learning and growth philosophy.
    • Partnering with managers and team members to share organizational resources that can help them to succeed and grow in their role. 
    • Balancing just-in-time and emerging needs within an established training calendar.

    The KSU Foundation is hiring an HR Generalist. The generalist will have three main focus areas:

    Employee engagement

    Lead the pre-hire and onboarding processes for full-time employees to accomplish essential functions, introduce our culture of excellence, and ensure new hires feel welcomed. Develop and manage a calendar of organizational engagement initiatives focused on improving the employment experience to include monthly, quarterly, and annual events including communication strategies. Serves as the first line of service to answer employee HR questions. Develop and execute engagement strategies aimed at student employees and their managers.

    Payroll and benefits administration

    Lead payroll processing in partnership with accounting team to ensure accuracy and infallibility of the system. Lead organization benefit programs, including standard health and welfare plans and retirement plans. Provide explanation of benefits plans to all employees and ensure alignment with system information, employee elections, and carrier billing.

    Data and system management

    Act as HRIS system expert and data owner. Continually seek ways to improve functionality and scale processes and procedures according to the organization’s needs. 

    Success in this role looks like: 

    • Meeting bi-weekly payroll deadlines with pristine documentation and error-free adjustments and entries.
    • Investing in the details of employee on-boarding to make a standardized process feel customized to each individual.
    • Taking pride in detailed and efficient HR processes while adding value through excellent customer service and planning employee engagement activities and events. 
    • Using deep HR knowledge to easily and smoothly shepherd employees through their uncertain or stressful life events.
