The Veterinary Medicine Human Resources Manager provides leadership of the Veterinary Medicine HR team. This position provides oversight and management of human resources processes of 2 staff members, that manage approx. 500 benefit-eligible employees and 500 student workers. This includes (but not limited to) leading day-to-day HR operations overseeing processes and procedures which include support with position descriptions, managing the recruiting process, managing daily HR employee processes, and providing onboarding/offboarding for the departments served. As a team leader, this position will monitor and evaluate employee skill development to reach current and future objectives of the team. This position will be a direct liaison between the University’s Human Resources office and the departments within Vet Med. As such, it is important that the HR Manager be able to instill a customer-focused service attitude within the team while maintaining a collaborative, supportive, and productive environment.
