We are hiring immediately for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday during the core business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The start and end time of the schedule will be agreed to prior to the start date.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:
The Human Resources Coordinator will implement programs and policies related to all areas of human resources and in accordance with federal and state regulations. They will provide excellent customer service to all employees and partners when responding to requests and questions. The Veterinary Medicine Human Resources Manager provides leadership of the Veterinary Medicine HR team. This position provides oversight and management of human resources processes of 2 staff members, that manage approx. 500 benefit-eligible employees and 500 student workers. This includes (but not limited to) leading day-to-day HR operations overseeing processes and procedures which include support with position descriptions, managing the recruiting process, managing daily HR employee processes, and providing onboarding/offboarding for the departments served. As a team leader, this position will monitor and evaluate employee skill development to reach current and future objectives of the team. This position will be a direct liaison between the University’s Human Resources office and the departments within Vet Med. As such, it is important that the HR Manager be able to instill a customer-focused service attitude within the team while maintaining a collaborative, supportive, and productive environment.
