During her college years, she actively participated in the SHRM student chapter and excelled in the K-State College of Business Executive Mentor Program, being honored as the Executive Mentee of the Year in 2018. Sara's commitment to HRMN is remarkable. She has served in numerous leadership roles, including vice president, president, secretary, and board of directors wrangler, displaying exceptional adaptability and resilience. During her presidency, she skillfully navigated HRMN through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring its continuity and success. Beyond her organizational roles, Sara's influence extends to the community. She is a dedicated Girl Scout troop leader, an active participant in the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee, and a volunteer for Konza United Way's Community Investment Day. She also contributes to local schools through mock interview days and engages with Community First National Bank’s Events Committee. Her commitment to professional development is evident in her swift achievement of the SHRM-CP credential shortly after graduating from K-State.
