This session will provide an overview of Kansas State University’s Project IMPACT program. We will share about the suite of programs designed to help so many multicultural and first-generation students to be successful and to connect with industry and future employers. The program will also include a facilitated student panel allowing students to share about their experience at Kansas State University, their career pathway, and how businesses can attract and retain diverse K-State talent.

Project IMPACT serves over 1200 students per year by providing programs specifically designed to identify, cultivate, recruit, retain and graduate multicultural and first-generation students, as well as economically disadvantaged students. Students involved in Project IMPACT are assisted from the time they enroll until the day they graduate. The companies participating in Project IMPACT have direct access to participants allowing those companies to build relationship, and to provide mentorship, financial support, and invaluable professional development to those students who would be potential candidates for job placement after graduation.

**This event will not receive HCRI and SHRM credit.**
