2019 Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award presented to Human Resources Manhattan Network
The Kansas State Council of SHRM recognized Human Resources Manhattan Network (HRMN) as they; model, encourage and promote diversity and inclusion in the community and the workplace. HRMN demonstrated work in the area of diversity and inclusion that goes above and beyond what is expected through normal organizational responsibilities. In addition, this organization has worked diligently in providing a positive impact on others in the community and the workplace. HRMN has involved community members in addressing their need to retain and recruit employees to the Manhattan community by offering a diverse and inclusive environment.
They are also hosting a Diversity Workshop open to the community in December.
The award was presented at the Kansas SHRM conference in September held in Overland Park, KS.
Cindy Volanti, HRMN President, and Jack Allston, Diversity Director of HRMN, accepted the award.
As part of the award a $500 donation will be made to HRMN to be used to support their Diversity and Inclusion efforts.
KS SHRM Council Gives Back
The KS SHRM Council awarded the Human Resource Management Network with a check for $780 as a Chapter that had attendance at State Conference over 25% of their total membership. Way to Go HRMN Chapter Members! We had 30 registrations for State Conference!!!
